Attractin Site - The Study of the Attractin Protein

The Attractin Site

Gene-specific PubMed Links
(ATRN, ATRNL/1, MEGF8, MGRN1, PEPD)

As depicted on the Function page under the Research tab, attractin has been connected with several proteins since its initial discovery. In this link, we provide a full PubMed listing relating to family members (ATRN, ATRNL1 and MEGF8), and to MGRN1 where its pathway of interactions may converge with that of Atrn/Atrnl1 given similar mutant phenotypes. In addition, links are provided to articles examining PEPD-encoded prolidase. This is of interest since it is an essential component of the final step of extracellular matrix degradation influencing not only structure but likely signaling and signaling gradients mediated by peptides, processes likely also mediated by attractin.

As open access rights are granted, links to full text articles will be added.
